The right message. The right people. Exactly when it matters.
Owl's Hour keeps your most important messages safe and delivers them to the right people when the time comes — even if you can't be there to send them yourself.
Share a secretWhen someone is suddenly unavailable, vital information disappears with them
An unexpected absence. An accident. An unexpected loss. The people we love are left searching for answers we already had. Most tools are built for the present — they can’t hold a message in trust for a future moment. Owl’s Hour fills that gap.
They talk about it better than we do
Margaret, grandmother
I’ve prepared messages, important documents, and instructions for settling my affairs, so my children automatically receive everything they need at the right moment — without me having to think about it later.
Lucas, entrepreneur
If I’m ever unable to communicate, my co-founder receives the messages and instructions needed to keep things running smoothly.
Sophia, stroke survivor
A serious health issue left me unable to manage my affairs or support my family for several months, preventing me from sharing essential information with my loved ones. A solution like this would have allowed that information to be delivered automatically at the right moment.
Noah, traveler
Before traveling, I schedule important messages and documents to be shared with my family only if something unexpected prevents me from checking in.
How it works
Write a message, attach documents, or both.
Choose a recipient, a delivery trigger, and an expiry — after which everything is permanently deleted.
Messages are end-to-end encrypted and stored so only your chosen recipients can read them.
When conditions are met the system delivers the message automatically.
End-to-end encrypted. We literally cannot read your messages.
Your messages are encrypted the moment you create them. We hold the ciphertext — not the keys — so only your chosen recipients can ever read them. We keep each message sealed until the moment you chose.
Our story
Owlshour wasn't born from a market study, but from lived experiences. A close friend's stroke, my mother-in-law's aneurysm, the loss of my grandparents: each time, the same realization — when someone suddenly becomes unavailable, essential information disappears with them, leaving loved ones helpless. We believe that sparing loved ones from material burdens during a crisis shouldn't be complicated or expensive. Owlshour is our answer to that gap.
